On the same day, the reporter learned from Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. that the first intelligent manufacturing base of offshore oil and gas production equipment in China-Tianjin Intelligent Manufacturing Base of Offshore Oil Engineering was officially put into operation, which marked a major breakthrough in the intelligent transformation of China's offshore oil and gas equipment industry.

The base has a total area of about 575,000 square meters, and its core facilities include three intelligent production centers, seven auxiliary workshops and eight general assembly stations. The designed annual production capacity is 84,000 structural tons, and it has a total length of 1,631 meters, which is suitable for large offshore engineering ships and FPSO to dock. More than 400 sets of advanced intelligent production equipment, such as automatic cutting, automatic grinding, intelligent assembly, intelligent welding, intelligent storage, etc., have been applied to realize the intelligentization of workshop prefabrication process from material admission to marking, assembly, grinding, welding, etc.

In the future, the base will focus on the development of high-end offshore products such as oil and gas production platforms and upper modules, FPSO modules, liquefied natural gas (LNG) modules, etc., and build a comprehensive base integrating the functions of intelligent manufacturing of offshore engineering, intelligent support of oil and gas field operation and maintenance, and original innovative research and development platform of offshore technology.
