The development of China International Import Expo(CIIE) is a vivid epitome of China's ever-expanding opening-up in the new era, and it is also an important witness for enterprises of various countries to share development opportunities and achieve mutual benefit and win-win.

At the event site, more than 30 exhibitors, exhibition organizers, Hongqiao Forum members, participants in cultural exchange activities and other enterprises and institutions collectively signed contracts with the Import Expo Bureau. Among the contracted enterprises, there are old friends such as Bristol-Myers Squibb and Marubeni who participated in many China International Import Expo(CIIE) sessions, and new friends such as Gilead Science, Rio Tinto and BHP Billiton who signed contracts for the first time.

 

Kenji Shuitian, the chief representative of the Shanghai representative office of the Japan External Trade Organization, expressed the hope that high-quality Japanese goods, technologies and services would be brought to China through China International Import Expo(CIIE), thus contributing to the further development of trade and investment between Japan and China.
