The data show that the species of animals and plants in Fuding Mountain Nature Reserve are increasing year by year. It has been found that 2185 species of plants are distributed in the reserve, and 806 species of vertebrates and insects have been identified and named.
FUDING mountain was designated as a county-level Nature Reserve in 1992 and upgraded to a National Nature Reserve in May 2016. The process of development and ecological optimization of Fuding mountain is the result of the vivid practice of the 'two mountain theory' in the local area.

In May 2021, the Fuding Mountain Nature Education Center was established. A natural education method based on experience is slowly carried out in Fuding mountain, providing tourists, especially teenagers, with richer tourism and learning experience, and better leveraging the local tourism economy.
